Finding an In-home/In-shop Flat Screen TV Repair Service Near You

Is your TV having problems and you think you currently need some professional help? In this post we provide a list of options that you can consider if you are looking for any form of technical support for your TV.

Need Immediate TV Troubleshooting Help

If you absolutely can’t wait and need immediate assistance to troubleshoot your television then you may try to avail of real-time support via phone or web chat. Below are a couple of options:

Option 1: If you need immediate real-time technical support for your device, first option is to call for assistance or contact via web chat the manufacturer directly. You may get their contact info from the documentation you got with your TV when you acquired it. If those documents are not available, you can try going to the manufacturer’s website to get their contact details. We have put together a quick list of contact pages of the more popular TV brands out there (list is linked directly to the contact pages). Please refer below (further down on this page) for said list.

Option 2: You can ASK A TECHNICIAN NOW via the chat window on this page. You will be connected to a technically qualified TV specialist that can attempt to quickly troubleshoot your TV problems for you. Be ready to provide details about your TV and the issue you are encountering.

Find Local In-home or In-shop TV Repair Service

If you do not need quick/real-time troubleshooting assistance but are sure you will need professional support or repair servicing, then below are your options:

Option 1: You can contact your manufacturer directly to get the (logistics) details on how you can send in your unit for repair. Some manufacturers may offer in-home TV servicing if that is your preference– just inquire about it directly with them. Most brands offer support via authorized service centers that are not under their branding. These are usually third-party companies that are trained and certified to fix specific manufacturers/brands. Just make sure they are reputable companies and confirm that they are really authorized. Manufacturers usually maintain a list of their authorized service centers on their websites.

Option 2: Use search engines to find service centers near you. We recommend Googling either of the following search phrases (or variations thereof, i.e., use your TV’s specific brand, etc.):

  • TV repair near me
  • Local TV repair shop
  • Sony TV Repair near me
  • Samsung TV Repair shop near me
  • LG TV repair service near me
  • Local Vizio repair service
  • Panasonic TV repair shops near me
  • etc.

Option 3: Similar to Option 2, you can use online resources to find technical support in your local area. Below is a list of such websites you can use to search (Note: This list is a work in progress):

  • Homeguide.com – just enter in your zip code along with a few details about your TV and your time frame preferences and they will try to match you with a local shop.
  • Homeadvisor.com – same as above, just enter pertinent details of your issue so they can provide you with a list of local repair options.
  • Angieslist.com – same approach as the sites listed above.

Disclaimer: We have not tried using the above websites to get repair help for our TVs. Please do your due diligence in your dealings with them and the shops that you will be matched with. It is prudent to confirm that they are legally permitted to conduct business in your area and are technically qualified to fix your TV. Dealing with brand-authorized service centers is always good practice and definitely an advantage. Manufacturers should be able to quickly verify if a service center is officially authorized by them so don’t hesitate to contact them to verify.

Manufacturers Technical Support Contact List

Below is a quick list of customer service/technical support pages for the popular brands (work in progress):

  • LG Customer Service Phone Numbers
  • Samsung Technical Support Contact Page
  • Sony Technical Support Contact Page
