[VIDEO] Fixing a Digital Lifestyles Flat Screen LCD TV Problem: Not Turning On

Here’s a nice little video that provides a possible fix for Digital Lifestyles TVs showing the following issues:
1) Seems to have no power.
2) Power indicator red LED light is on.
3) When power button is pressed, you hear a click then the LED light blinks, but nothing happens after that.

The video suggests you do a hard reset first by unplugging the device and wait 1 minute before plugging and trying to turn it on again. If that doesn’t fix the issue then you could proceed with the rest of the video.

The issue turned out to be a bunch of bad capacitors on the main power board so it was a relatively simple fix if you have the necessary replacement capacitors and know how to solder electronics (You can learn here: Learn How to Solder Electronic Components & Circuits).

I tried looking for more info about this brand as I’ve actually heard little about this company but things are looking pretty scarce and I found quite a few similar inquiries trying to vet this company. There are indications this might be an old company or even an obsolete company as I am unable to find brand new units anywhere I look (meaning on Amazon and eBay :)).

If you have info that can help me find out more about this company, please leave something in the comments and you’ll have my utmost thanks. 🙂
