Looking for a Cheap Flat Screen TV Under 100 USD? You’re in luck!

Need a new TV but currently on a tight budget? If $100 is within your spending limits then there are definitely a few options out there for you. Don’t expect the top brands to be in there though but there are pretty nice and cheap flat screen TVs under $100 out there if you’re not the picky type and are not after gimmicky features and the usual cutting-edge frills. You’re definitely not gonna have built in Netflix or Hulu to satisfy your video streaming habits but you should still be able to play great video content via the usual input options (cable, HDMI, USB, etc.).

Your Options and What to Expect

Amazon does carry a number of TV models that fall under the 100-dollar price point. However, the first thing you will notice are that most of them are of the not-usually-heard brands like Sceptre, Caixun or Sansui, but should definitely function the same way as known brands in the same category. Also, screen sizes will probably not more than 24-inches in most of these units.

The Sceptre E246BV-FC is a 24″ LED HDTV that comes with a full HD (1080p) LCD screen. This seems to be the only unit available in this resolution. Other ones like the Caixun C24 LED HDTV are not full HD (only 720p) but are also at a lower price point than the Scepter. If the number before “p” is important to you then the Sceptre would be the suitable option.

Product type: HDTV.Brightness:300 cd/m2

The Refurbished Option

You could also shave off a few good bucks if you consider looking at refurbished TVs. You will occasionally see these units being sold even in online stores like Amazon or eBay. They usually still come with some form of warranty and guarantees that the units have been thoroughly tested and certified to work like it’s new.
